Rehabilitation & Modification

Wild flowers , plants and fungi are the life support for all our wildlife
and their colour and character light up our landscapes.

Home Service Rehabilitation & Modification

To maintain infrastructure efficiency, safety, and compliance with current standards, Pallavi Green Project (OPC) Private Limited is initiating Rehabilitation and Modification Works across existing utilities and systems. These works aim to restore aging infrastructure, upgrade system performance, and ensure long-term functionality without the need for complete replacement.

This process involves detailed assessments, structural retrofitting, equipment upgrades, pipeline rerouting, electrical modifications, and system automation improvements in a controlled, minimally disruptive manner.

Scope of Work

1. Structural Rehabilitation

  • Inspection and repair of RCC structures (manholes, tanks, basements, foundations)

  • Waterproofing, crack injection, and surface restoration

  • Reinforcement of load-bearing elements (columns, beams, slabs) with FRP, steel plates, or jacketing

  • Re-tiling, plastering, and protective coatings

2. Piping & Utility Modifications

  • Replacement of corroded, leaking, or undersized pipelines (GI, MS, HDPE, PVC)

  • Rerouting of water supply, drainage, and fire-fighting lines as per new layout

  • Upgradation of valves, flow meters, NRVs, and pressure gauges

  • Integration of bypass lines or redundancy loops

3. Electrical & Control System Modifications

  • Upgradation of panels, circuit breakers, and cabling as per load demands

  • Retrofitting old systems with energy-efficient components (LED lighting, VFDs)

  • Automation upgrades – PLC panels, SCADA integration, IoT sensors

  • Earthing system strengthening and power factor correction

4. Equipment & Machinery Overhaul

  • Refurbishment or replacement of mechanical equipment: pumps, motors, blowers

  • Efficiency upgrades for STP, WTP, RO, HVAC, and softener systems

  • Servicing or replacement of filtration units and chemical dosing systems

5. Retrofitting for Code Compliance

  • Modifications to meet updated norms from NBC, IS codes, CPCB, or local authorities

  • Fire safety retrofitting (hydrants, sprinklers, alarms)

  • Accessibility upgrades (ramps, safety signage, handrails)

6. Civil Alterations & Renovations

  • Dismantling and reconfiguring existing civil works (walls, slabs, trenches)

  • Modifying utility rooms, pump houses, control rooms for better access and space usage

  • Structural rework for new equipment placement

Work Methodology

  1. Site Survey & Condition Assessment

  2. Root Cause Identification & Feasibility Report

  3. Design Proposal & Scope Finalization

  4. Execution with Safety & Minimal Downtime

  5. Testing, Commissioning & Handover Documentation

Key Objectives

  • Restore functionality and extend asset life

  • Enhance system performance and efficiency

  • Meet current safety and environmental standards

  • Minimize operational disruption during execution

Deliverables

  • Detailed Rehabilitation Plan and Drawings

  • Before-and-After Reports and Photographic Documentation

  • Test Reports (e.g., water quality, electrical load, pressure tests)

  • Commissioning and Certification Documents

  • As-Built Drawings and Operation Support

Safety and Quality Assurance

  • Compliance with all site safety regulations and PPE mandates

  • Use of quality-tested materials and certified equipment

  • QA/QC checks at each project milestone
