Pallavi Green Project (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. has initiated comprehensive piping works as a key part of its infrastructure development. This service encompasses the design, supply, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning of all piping systems to support utilities, fluid transport, mechanical systems, and fire protection.

The piping systems will be executed with precision to ensure durability, leak-proof performance, corrosion resistance, and compliance with national and international standards.

Scope of Piping Works

1. Plumbing Piping Systems

  • Cold and Hot Water Supply Lines: Using CPVC, UPVC, PPR, or GI pipes depending on design specifications.

  • Drainage and Wastewater Piping: Including soil waste (SW), rainwater (RW), and vent piping with necessary traps and cleanouts.

  • Sewage and Effluent Systems: With HDPE/CI/DI pipes, inspection chambers, and connection to external networks.

2. Fire Protection Piping

  • Sprinkler Piping Network: Overhead and concealed piping using black steel or galvanized iron pipes.

  • Hydrant and Hose Reel Piping: With adequate zoning, flow rate, and pressure balance, connected to pump room.

  • Fire Pump Room Piping: Suction and delivery lines, valves, and accessories in line with NBC and NFPA standards.

3. HVAC Piping

  • Chilled Water Piping: Including supply and return lines, insulation, supports, and valves.

  • Refrigerant Piping: For VRV/VRF systems using copper tubing with proper brazing and insulation.

  • Condensate Drain Piping: Properly sloped, insulated, and routed.

4. Utility Piping

  • Compressed Air Piping (if applicable): Industrial-grade piping systems with dryers and filters.

  • Gas Piping Systems: For kitchens or labs (LPG/PNG), designed with safety cut-offs, regulators, and vents.

  • RO/DM Water Piping: For water treatment plants and specialized applications.


Materials and Standards

  • Pipes: MS, SS, GI, CPVC, HDPE, PPR, UPVC, DI, Copper depending on system and use case.

  • Standards Followed: IS, ASME, ASTM, BIS, NBC, and project-specific codes.

  • Insulation: Nitrile rubber, glass wool, or foam-based insulation based on the media and temperature range.


Work Methodology

  1. Preliminary Design and Coordination with other services.

  2. Procurement and Fabrication of piping and fittings as per approved drawings.

  3. Installation with proper support, anchoring, and slope.

  4. Hydrostatic/Pneumatic Testing to ensure leak-proof performance.

  5. Commissioning and Balancing of systems for functional efficiency.


Quality Control and Safety

  • Strict adherence to approved QA/QC plans and inspection test plans (ITP).

  • Use of calibrated tools and equipment.

  • All joints and welds undergo NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) where applicable.

  • Safety measures include PPE usage, permit-to-work systems, and hazard analysis.
