Wild flowers , plants and fungi are the life support for all our wildlife
and their colour and character light up our landscapes.
Pallavi Green Project (OPC) Private Limited is committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility. As part of this vision, a robust Waste Water Management System will be designed and implemented to treat, recycle, and safely dispose of wastewater generated from the premises.
This includes a comprehensive system for collection, conveyance, treatment, reuse, and disposal of both greywater and blackwater in full compliance with statutory and environmental standards.
1. Wastewater Collection System
Network of Underground Drainage Piping: Using HDPE/UPVC pipes for collecting greywater and blackwater from buildings.
Inspection Chambers & Manholes: Strategically located for maintenance and access.
Grease Traps & Oil Interceptors: For kitchen and food processing wastewater.
2. Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
Design Capacity: Based on estimated population load (e.g., KLD – Kilo Litres per Day).
Treatment Technology:
MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor)
SBR (Sequencing Batch Reactor)
FAB (Fluidized Aerobic Bio-reactor)
(Choice based on space, load, and operational efficiency)
Components Include:
Bar Screens and Grit Chambers
Equalization Tank
Aeration Tank
Secondary Clarifier
Sludge Handling Units (Drying Beds or Mechanical De-watering)
Disinfection System (UV/Chlorination)
3. Treated Water Reuse and Disposal
Treated Water Reuse: For landscaping, flushing, HVAC makeup water, and floor cleaning.
Treated Effluent Disposal: As per CPCB/SPCB norms, with provision for overflow to municipal drainage if required.
4. Rainwater & Stormwater Management (Optional but often integrated)
Collection and filtration of rainwater from roof and surface areas.
Recharge pits or percolation tanks for groundwater recharge.
Compliant with:
CPCB (Central Pollution Control Board)
MoEF (Ministry of Environment and Forests)
National Building Code (NBC)
Local Pollution Control Board (SPCB) Guidelines
BOD, COD, TSS, pH, and Fecal Coliform levels of treated water shall meet discharge standards.
Flow meters, pH meters, DO sensors, level sensors.
Optional: PLC/SCADA-based control and monitoring for STP automation.
O&M manuals and SOPs provided.
Training of facility staff for system upkeep.
Optional: AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) for long-term service.
Regular inspection and quality checks during installation.
Safe practices for handling sludge and chemicals.
Environmental monitoring reports during commissioning.
Wastewater Management Design Drawings and Hydraulic Flow Diagrams
STP Process Flow Chart and Technical Specifications
